Today, we are supposed to gather outside the main building for the bus. Sasi and I were supposed to meet the guys at 6.45am but we were not able to get ready in time. Thus, we sent a sms to them to tell us that we were going to meet them at 7am instead. When we reached the main building, there was no one there. Slowly, Mr. Chua and Mr. Ma arrived. When everyone was there, the bus came and everyone board the bus. The bus was very dirty; it was not as clean as the buses we took previously. We had no choice but to clean the seat ourselves before we sit down. It was another long journal before we reach Wuhan University of Science and Technology to meet with another group and to change to another bus. We each were to put on a helmet when we reach there. After another long journey, we finally reached our destination. We were told not to take any photo when we inside. We were led to walk through the factory to take a look at the process of steel making. A sudden heat wave hit us when one bright red piece of steel came out and was on the roller. We follow on to the next point where that piece of steel where it was being applied pressure using water. This causes the thick piece of steel to be pressed flatter and became longer. It was later being put through a series of water to cool it down and it became its original grey colour. The last station was a roller which was in charge of rolling the long metal into something like swiss roll which will then be checked using Infar ray and will be stamped if the quality is up to standard. We were then asked to board the bus again.

Many felt that it was a waste of time to come all the way there just to walk through the steel factory thus the teacher decided to allow us to go shopping. We had lunch at Mac as the others places are too expensive for us at the time being. When we finish our lunch, we decided to head back to school so that we will not be late for lesson. We packed our bag and head off towards classroom. We had APPG lesson, Mr. Ma went through chapter 3 and we were given tutorial 3 and another chapter 5 notes. Have to rush through my journals and do my tutorial 3 now and my group had plan to start writing our essay whenever we have time to avoid rushing of work towards the end of the trip.

I think that the trip to the steel factory was interesting as not everybody will be given the chance to look at the factory. It is a chance not to be wasted thus I look at the whole process as much as I could. I feel that we must learn to think about the positive side of everything instead of continuously thinking of the negative side of things.
