Manage to wake up on time and get ready on time. Finally, this is the first time since we step foot in Wuhan that we are early. However, the guys are already downstairs waiting for us. Walk to the class and eating our breakfast while walking. Guess that we are starting to adapt to the life here by getting used to eating and walking at the same time. Lesson was used for presentations, learn something more about Singapore although mostly are what I have know before this trip. One of the group have a person who was given only one slide to present, this caused the whole class to be laughing. However, this shows that the group was not well prepared for this presentation and is not treating it seriously. This also shows that there is a lack of teamwork between the members as they are ok with causing their team mates to get lesser marks. Lunch was at 12pm, have to submit our Worksheet that we were given yesterday thus we have to get back to our hostel to fill up the blanks we have. When we walk back to the class, we have decided to take a new way which is faster then the usual one. Indeed it seems faster and the view that we see while walking is also different. New discovery for us. IS presentation continues, they are reading from the slides itself. Some of the slides is also too wordy, this cause me to feel bored. Went for a table tennis game after class before we go for dinner. As usual, went outside to get our breakfast for tomorrow. Tried out the mutton satay, all i can say was WOW!!! It is really very nice and delicious, even better then some of Singapore's satay.
Today, I have learn that powerpoint slides should not be too wordy or we should not read directly from the slides. This will caused the audience to feel bored and soon lost interest in the presentation. I also know the importance of preparation and it is the keypoint in getting better grades.
